Welcome to Moonta Kindergarten.
Our role is to provide an extension of your care and education. By communicating with each other, and working together, we can help to strengthen your child’s development.
Educators will assist your child to develop lifelong learning dispositions through an intentionally planned and spontaneous play curriculum which is based on their strengths and interests.
Moonta kindy is a fun, engaging and challenging place to be.
Our large outdoor learning environment and adjoining kindy forest, invites exploration, challenges and inspires creativity.
Our indoor area is set up to be welcoming, homely and full of provocations to entice investigation and questions. Through our play curriculum, both the indoor and outdoor areas are full of literacy and numeracy experiences.
We look forward to creating lasting relationships with you ,your child and your family.
Our Parent Information Booklet will assist you in the detailed running of our Kindy.
Please take time to download and print off our booklet.

Occasional Care is a childcare service provided by The Department for Education and Child Development (DECD) for children under school age in small, community-based locations.
The service primarily targets families where one parent is not in the paid workforce, but is also available for other family structures.
Occasional Care provides ‘now and then’ childcare to enable parents/caregivers to participate in activities, keep appointments, or have a break from their child/children on an occasional basis.
Friday 12.30pm—3.30pm for children between 2-5 years. (Children not already accessing a kindy program.)
