Moonta Kindergarten provides a safe, fun and stimulating environment where a variety of experiences are offered.
We strive to embed within your child, the skills of persistence, resilience, getting along, confidence and organisation through play and other program. We believe these are the most important skills for your child to have as they build self esteem and skills for life.

Session Times
Children attend kindergarten for four terms prior to starting full time schooling.
Moonta Kindergarten is a part time kindergarten offering four sessions of Kindergarten per week to children.
Please speak with one of our staff to arrange a time to visit the kindergarten.
Pre-entry
Pre-entry is a session available to children the term before they start full time kindy. Pre-entry allows children to become aware of the Kindy environment and become familiar with staff and routines.
Pre-entry sessions are held on a Thursday from 8.45am to 11.30am.

Playgroup Information
Our local playgroup is run by parents and is held at the Kindy from 9.30am to 11.30am on a Monday morning during term time.
Children up to four years of age are given the opportunity to play, create and socialise with other children and parents.
This is a wonderful opportunity for children to become familiar with the Kindy environment and parents to get to know each other.

Occasional Care
While we do not offer an Occasional Care service there are several options available in Moonta for child care.
Family Day Care is provided throughout the Yorke Peninsula. For details of your nearest Family Day Care educator contact Family Day Care Business and Customer Support Centre on 1300 551 890.
